LeTourneau's rubber-tired dozer offers a unique combination of rugged construction and proven components found on LeTourneau's larger machines. Equipped with a 1050 hp (783 kW) diesel engine and a standard 35 yd³ (26.76 m³) semi-u rock blade, it is also offered with up to a 70 yd³ u-blade (53.52 m³) for coal. As with the other members of LeTourneau's family of machines, the D-950 is propelled by SR electric motors at each wheel, providing true, independent all-wheel drive.
